New In-State Competitor Card

Nebraska USA is developing a new inexpensive competitor card for competitions in Nebraska.  It is available ONLINE and will be printable on your own printer!  

 

Advantages of our new card:

1. The cards can be printed instantly, as soon as they are paid for.
2. The cards can be reprinted at any time. Lost or damaged cards are replaced at the click of a button.
3. The system can be used to manage a roster. All of the wrestler's info is at the club manager's fingertips.
4. Instant access to a list of all of the tournaments that are using the TWTCommunity OnLine Registration system.
5. Instant access to a list of all of the wrestlers that you registered for a particular tournament.(or all tournaments).  This is handy to print before going to the tournament.
6. Instant access to your wrestler's and coach's card numbers.
7. The club roster can be downloaded as a spreadsheet at anytime for the coaches or club manager's use.
8. The cards can be renewed next year without re-entering the data.  Just click the pay button to renew the cards after they have expired.

Membership Cards

Please find below instructions on how your club members can obtain their USA Wrestling membership cards and how to charter your club and events. We are hopeful these instructions will answer your immediate questions and we wish your club the best of luck this wrestling season.

How to order the USAW Coaches cards?

  1. Can only be ordered online at www.themat.com

  2. You will be required to do a background check for an additional cost that is good for two years.

How to charter your club or sanction your event?

  1. Go online to www.themat.com and click on the Membership link.

  2.  If you receive a club packet in the mail you may also use those forms.

  3. Any questions for club charters or event sanctions contact the Nebraska USA Membership director.

Competitor's Membership $30.00
Valid for kids, cadet, junior, F.I.L.A. Junior World, university, senior, masters level competition at all competition levels, and club practices. To enter a USA Wrestling sectioned event as a competitor you must have a current competitors card. Membership benefits include secondary, non duplicating sports accident insurance provided by an outside carrier. This insurance coverage includes a deductible, co-payment provisions and other condition of the policy (details will be provided to club administrators); a one-year subscription to USA Wrestler; the privilege to compete and take advantage of events, camps, clinics, international exchanges, and club programs; discounts on wrestling gear, equipment and apparel; and other national discount programs as they become available.

Limited Competitors Membership $12.00
A limited competitors membership is available for any wrestlers competing in the Nebraska league. Any athlete wishing to compete outside of the Nebraska league must purchase a Full Competitors Membership.

Coach's Membership $30.00
Membership benefits include secondary, non-duplicating sports accident insurance provided by an outside carrier. This insurance coverage includes a deductible, co-payment provisions and other conditions of the policy (details will be provided to club administrators); a one year subscription to USA Wrestler; a copy of the international rule book the privilege to coach at events and specified camps, clinics, international exchanges, and club programs; opportunity for coach instruction and certification; discounts on wrestling gear, equipment and apparel; and other national discount programs as they become available. This card may not be used for competition.

Official's Membership
Membership benefits include secondary, non-duplicating sports accident insurance provided by an outside carrier. This insurance coverage includes a deductible, co-payment provisions and other conditions of the policy (details will be provided to club administrators); limited liability insurance (per the conditions of the policy); a one-year subscription to USA Wrestler; a copy of the international rule book (available in February of 1999); discounts on wrestling equipment and apparel; and other national discount programs as they become available; voting privileges at USWOA general meetings. Memberships in the USWOA is handled by the United States Wrestling Officials Association. For more information, write: USWOA, 1008 W. Union Blvd., Bethlehem, PA 18018; 1-610-882-3087. This card may not be used for competition.

Club Charter $55.00
A club charter provides membership affiliation with USA Wrestling for state and national clubs. Club Charter benefits include liability insurance for practice sessions supervised by member coaches and property and general liability protection for club leaders and volunteers (subject to cover limits and conditions under the policy); fund-raising opportunities through the National Headquarters and national sponsors; a subscription to USA Wrestler; a copy of the international rule book (available in February of 1999); and other program materials as they become available. Each club pays one charter fee, regardless of the number of wrestlers or ages involved with the club. All members of the club must be individually registered with the USA Wrestling. Owners/operators of facilities may be listed as a Certificate Holder for a nominal fee. Owners/operators, as Certificate Holders, of facilities can be listed as additional insured through approval of the insurance carrier at no charge. 

Sanction for Competitive Event $45.00
A sanction for a USA Wrestling event, approved by the State Chairperson or designated state director and received and approved by the National Office within the appropriate time frame prior to the event, provides organization affiliation and other limited benefits. Liability insurance coverage for tournament organizers and volunteers is a benefit of the sanction, as well as limited property damage coverage (subject to coverage limits and conditions under the policy). The owner of the facility where the event is held may be included as an Additional Insured, upon submission of appropriate form and approval of the insurance carrier, at no additional cost. All contestants must hold valid USA Wrestling Competitor's membership cards. Event Directors receive a Certificate of Insurance; opportunity to purchase discounted event supplies; fund-raising consignment sales opportunities of USA Wrestling merchandise at certain events; event organizing materials; access to national staff for consulting; and free promotional listings in the national newspaper (subject to publication dates and receipt of event information).

Foreign Athlete Membership - National fee $7.50
Foreign wrestlers competing in the United States are required to have a USA Wrestling Competitor's Membership Card. The special card fee for foreign athletes is $7.50. and must be purchased prior to the first competition. Secondary Sports Accident Insurance benefits, within conditions of the policy, are included. American hosts of visiting international exchange teams must verify membership and/or arrange for Competitor's Membership cards through their state Membership Administrator. No other membership benefits or services, or liability insurance coverage benefits are extended to foreign participants holding USA Wrestling membership cards.
