style state tournament in Grand Island on March
15th, 2009.

Submit Your Tournament
Nebraska USA Wrestling will now be maintaining a calendar
of tournaments for individual wrestlers and teams looking
for competition. If you are holding a tournament
for your club, submit it via our
Tournament Submission Page. It does not
have to be sanctioned through Nebraska USA to be posted.
High School Tournaments are welcome as well.

An Important Letter to Club Directors
The Huskerland
Board of Directors is contemplating to stop using USA
Wrestling as its insurance provider for its tournaments.
The board decided that they would change to a more expensive
provider, AAU. We understand Huskerland have the right
to use what ever they want for their insurance coverage.
We also understand that each club has the right to determine
how they will cover their own clubs...

USA National Kids Freestyle/Greco Championships
Here's a picture of Dante' Rodriguez
of the Kearney Mat Cats on the awards stand. Dante'
won both the freestyle and Greco nationals in Orem,
Utah. Doyle Trout of the Exploredories is also on the
awards stand he placed 5th in both freestyle and Greco
in the same weight class as Dante', Novice 70lbs.
